Our local builders assist with planning permission and building regulations. Upon completion, we will walk you through the house and await your full approval before the handover. Our homes are fully certified, and an insurance-backed warranty can be arranged through Build-Zone or Premier Guarantee for an additional fee. Will I Need Planning Permission? Our New-House Builders Can Help

Yes, all newly built properties require planning permission as they are categorised as ‘development’, i.e. construction. There are two types which can be obtained through local authority planning applications:

Outline Planning Permission

Outline planning permission is less detailed than the alternative. It is given where your local authority agrees to the principle of your development. The benefit of applying via this option is that you don’t have to specify as many details in advance and can amend your proposal without the costs associated with submitting and resubmitting the entire application.

Full Planning Permission

As the name suggests, full planning permission is much more detailed. It includes site access, layout, construction details, elevations, etc. Drainage is also required, along with details pertaining to roofing materials, external brickwork and rendering, windows, etc. These points are extremely important if you plan to build within a conversation area.
